Senior Manager, Sales & Operations

He / She is required to manage and oversee the whole travel management group operations and activities.  He/She is required to lead, organize, direct and control both the Operations and Sales Team.  He / She is also required to co-ordinate  and direct  the activities of staff, overseeing not only the day-to-day tasks, but the hiring, training and evaluating of staff members as well.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, drive and direct both the Sales and Operations Departments to exceed sales targets and offering excellent customer service and growing the brand's reputation
• Lead and drive both Sales and Operation Teams , ensuring the smooth, efficient running of both  Departments.
• Contribute towards the sales and profit targets of the Company.

Manager, Ticketing and Operations Department

The candidate  will be responsible for the  daily operations of the Ticketing & Operations Department.

This position will report directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Booking and issuing of airline tickets, reissues, refund tickets and etc.
  • Inquiries in all forms professionally.
  • Provide information to clients concerning local, interstate and international tours, travel routes, accommodation, local customs, fares, and travel regulations.
  • Response to clients’ requests  ie quotations, travel plans, invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all travel documents are accurately prepared.
  • Ensure high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction delivered in accordance to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Payments and maintain records of transactions
  • Managing the ticketing team with a view to grow and expand the division.
  •  Ensure the agreed timetable and fare processes are correctly applied and delivered on time to the customers as well as to the back end office.
  • Produce operation report as and when required by the Management
  • Provide on-going training to staff to ensure staff performance.
  • Collaborate with Head of Department to transform streamlined ticketing strategies, policies and business rules.
  • Continuous service review to ensure operational effectiveness and best practice.
  • Monitoring project schedules and project budgets.
  • Improve processes and working practices around ticketing and reservations.
  • Supporting the introduction and implementation of a new ticketing and reservations management system (in house system)
  • Ensure Governance structure supporting Ticketing and Reservations are complied with.
  • Assume other responsibilities as and when required by the Management
 
Manager, Sales Department

The candidate must be able to offer professional and competitive travel products to meet the demands of the travel market, which includes corporate travel management, tailor-made trips, online bookings  and other travel related products.

This position will report directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for developing strategies to hit or exceed sales targets set by  the Management.
  • Be creative in promoting and marketing the travel products  to current markets and sometimes to new or niche markets;
  • Managing budgets, forecasting sales and maintaining statistical/financial sales records;
  • Selling travel products, tour packages and other travel related products;
  • Pro active in sourcing and exploring new products and destinations to meet consumer demands
  • Liaising with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage bookings and schedules, often one year in advance;
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints  and aiming to meet their expectations and solutions.
  • Overseeing the smooth, efficient running of the Sales Department.
  • Constantly motivating the sales team to hit their targets and ensure company profitability;
  • Meeting regularly with sales team to give them sales figures and plan/guidance  on  how to achieve the target.
  • Meeting with Head of Department who advises on strategies and finding out about any local issues and future trends in the travel industries
  • Overseeing the recruitment, selection, retention  and training of  sales team.
  • Communicating with sales consultants and providing encouragement, help and advice;
  • Assume other responsibilities as and when required by the Management
